Welcome to your destination for seductive legs. In this category you will find Nylon stockings, which combine the best of both worlds: the sensual look of classic garter stockings and the modern security of Hold-up stockings (Stay-Ups).
As specialist retailers, we have consciously decided: With us, all nylon stockings are Thigh-high stockings. This means they have a high-quality finishing band with integrated silicone strips. Why do we do this? Because we believe you shouldn't have to choose between a beautiful look and a non-slip fit.
What exactly are hold-up stockings?
Thigh-high stockings – often called stay-ups – are fine-knit stockings that adhere to the thigh without additional suspenders. The secret lies in the lace band at the top. On the inside of this band, fine strips of medical-grade silicone are attached. Your body heat causes this silicone to adhere gently but securely to the skin.
The result: You enjoy absolute freedom. No constricting waistbands in the abdominal area like with pantyhose, but pure elegance on the leg. Our collection offers you everything you're looking for:
-
Transparent Classics: For the perfect nude look for everyday wear.
-
Seductive Seam Nylons: Real eye-catchers with the classic line on the back.
-
Wide lace bands: For luxurious moments and special focus on the thighs.
Our Expert Tip: Why You Should Wear Strapless Bras with Garters
This is the most important tip we can give you – it will change how you feel when wearing them. Many women look for classic "suspender stockings" (stockings without silicone) to wear with a garter belt. The problem with this: a stocking without silicone will only held punctually by the most 4 clips of the belt. In between, the fine fabric often slips down, creating unsightly waves ("hammock effect") or the clip detaches with too much tension.
The Solution: Our "Double-Hold" Strategy
We expressly recommend that you our hold-up stockings also to use as stay-ups. That sounds unusual at first, but it's technically much better:
-
The primary stop: The silicone band ensures that the stocking adheres all around the thigh. It stays put, doesn't wrinkle, and doesn't slip an inch.
-
The secondary backup (and optics): You also attach the strap holders to the lace waistband.
Your advantage: The garter belt no longer has to bear the entire weight of the stocking ("pulling"), but only serves for additional security and an erotic look. Even if you bend over, dance, or run fast: Since the stocking already holds due to the silicone, this relieves the clips enormously. Nothing slips, nothing comes loose. It is the safest and most comfortable way to Nylon stockings to be worn with suspenders.
Buying nylon stockings – What you should look out for
To ensure your new nylon stockings and hold-ups fit perfectly, please follow these small tips:
-
No cream: Please do not apply lotion to your thighs before wearing. Oil and grease immediately neutralize the adhesive power of the silicone.
-
The right size: A hold-up stocking must fit snugly on the thigh but should not constrict. Refer to our size chart – when in doubt, the thigh circumference often decides, not just your height.
-
Care: Wash the silicone strap regularly (preferably by hand) with warm water to remove skin flakes and reactivate its grip ("adhesive strength").
Frequently Asked Questions about Nylon Stockings & Hold-ups (FAQ)
What is the difference between nylon stockings and hold-ups?
In our shop, we use the terms almost synonymously. Technically, "nylon stocking" refers to the material, while "hold-up" describes the construction (with a silicone band). We exclusively carry hold-up nylon stockings, as they offer you the best support.
Can I attach hold-up stockings to a garter belt?
Yes, absolutely! This is our expert recommendation for you. Since hold-ups adhere to the leg on their own thanks to the silicone band, they relieve the clips of the garter belt. The stocking sits perfectly smooth and cannot slip between the holders, as often happens with simple garter stockings.
My hold-up stockings keep slipping – why is that?
In 90% of cases, this is due to two reasons: Either the skin was creamed before wearing (grease dissolves silicone) or the size is too loose. Wash the silicone strap with warm water and a little soap to "reactivate" it. Make sure your skin is dry and free of grease.
What's the best way to wash nylon stockings?
We recommend hand washing with a mild detergent. If you must use a washing machine, be sure to use a laundry bag and the delicate cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees. Please do not use fabric softener, as it can damage the silicone band.
